Local Chamber Member

As an active member of the Charlottesville Chamber of Commerce, I am dedicated to fostering connections and supporting local businesses within our community. My involvement with the Chamber allows me to collaborate with fellow entrepreneurs, contribute to economic growth, and stay informed about the latest developments and opportunities in the Charlottesville area.

Additionally, I served as the former co-chair of Aging In Place, a Chamber subset focused on enhancing the quality of life for older adults by promoting services and initiatives that support independent living and aging with dignity.

Educational Seminars

At The Center, I offer informative seminars designed to empower local seniors with the knowledge they need to navigate Social Security and healthcare insurance benefits. My goal is to ensure that each attendee understands how to maximize their benefits, providing them with the confidence and resources to make informed decisions.

For a complete list of upcoming seminars, please visit my event page or check The Center's calendar.

Instructor at OLLI

As an instructor at OLLI through UVA, I have the privilege of leading educational seminars on a diverse range of topics. My goal is to engage and inspire lifelong learners by providing enriching content that caters to various interests and curiosities. Through these seminars, I aim to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the subjects we explore together. For a complete list of upcoming seminars, please visit my event page.

Community Involvement

As an active member of the community, I work with the Charlottesville Area Alliance and partner organizations to support initiatives that enhance quality of life, with a particular focus on making the community more age-friendly and accessible for everyone.

Partner with innovAge

I am proud to partner locally with innovAge, working to enhance resources and support for our aging community. Together, we focus on providing valuable programs and services that empower seniors to maintain independence and thrive in their own homes and communities. This partnership reflects my commitment to improving the well-being and quality of life for older adults in our area.

Virginia TRIAD Member

I am a proud member of the Albemarle/Charlottesville TRIAD chapter. The goal of Triad is to reduce the fear of crime and victimization among seniors by increasing awareness of scams and frauds targeting them, strengthening communication between the law enforcement and senior communities, and educating seniors on local and state resources that are available in their community.

The Virginia Triad Office can provide information and resources to Triad chapters across the Commonwealth.
